Most people call me Luna or Bo-moon, but I was unfortunately named "Maria" at birth |B;

◆If possible, your age?
17

◆When did you start drawing?
I always doodled when I was younger, but nothing really serious- stuff like anatomy and stuff never really bothered me then. I took art all through elementary, and a painting class- but no real interest. In middle school, I met and witnessed ~Roronoa-Sanji's drawings, and although i liked them, i failed hard xD so I gave up trying. But in 9th grade...I found *Jubilations- and I decided that I wanted to draw as good as she did. |D

So, basically...about 2 years ago. C:

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Riiiiighty all the way. My left hand is useless |D;;

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
It depends really. I have a preference for guys- but that doesn't make 'em any easier to draw. XD

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Loooong, on both sexes. Males with wild curls or waves help me cover up the fact that i suck at jaws, necks, and ears XD. For females- long hair helps me cover up the shoulders and stuff

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
It depends on what I want the character to be doing...but I usually make them face right, oddly enough

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
For the face...I'd say side- frontal view is kind of hard |D; For the body, however, front is easier, because there's less 3-D touches to be made.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Ears, noses, eyes, hair, lips, jaws, chins, mouths, necks, shoulders, chests, stomachs, hips, legs, feet, calves, curves, shadows, details, straight lines, movement, expression, anatomy, realism...

◆What do you like to draw?
Long, Curly/wavy messy hair....male hips and chests D//B *drool*

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
I usually sketch my drawings Traditionally, then scan it in/photograph it, and color/edit it digitally |3

◆Where do you start drawing from?
It depends- alot of the times I draw the eyes first, because to me they give the expression of the character. If I want to make it a really important pic, however, I tend to do alot of circular and lines to help me form the anatomy as i draw |D;

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I hunch like hell, squint (even though the paper is about .3546 cm from my nose XD), and i make the expressions im drawing XD

◆What do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
Getting it as perfect as possible. I try to clean it up as much as possible later- draw over the lines with pen or DARK and then erase slowly, although i usually end up making a mess anyway- i always pissed of my graphic design teacher in 7th grade 'cause my drawings were really messy xD

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
I don't usually shade- but the one thing to remember is to try and make the colors blend (at least the way i color). Also- since I use digital programs for coloring, remember to try and do things in as little "takes" as possible- because although the back button is your friend, it doesn't go all the way back. D|

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Between drawings, photo, re-doing the lines, cleaning it up, coloring, and putting effects? 3-5 days, if I'm lucky. |D;

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Reaaaally? I don't listen to music when I'm drawing- it distracts me. If I get really into it, though, it'll be whatever Itunes is playing. xD

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Most of the time, I just see the drawing or idea in my head- and I never get it on paper, but the general concept follows xD When I try to force myself to draw, it comes out utter CRAP 99.8% of the time. ><

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Mechanical Pencil, White Rubber eraser, my tablet and PSCS3

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
Green/ I tend to use black for clothing...blue because a lot of my characters wear jeans. I guess a pale-cream for skin xD

◆Your favorite style(s)?
The animation styles of Disney, definately- although my art has a lot of Anime influence for anatomy- it's sharper, unlike Disney's definitive roundness. xD Specifically, I like Yuu Watase's male anatomy for males...xD; yeah.

◆Are you satisfied with your current art?
It's definately better than how I started- but it's nowhere near my original goal- to be as good as Jubilations, which in many ways is to be as good as any Disney animator. |D

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
....How about I just show you? XD

*Jubilations <- the best Disney-style animator, although she's starting to branch off slightly- even better.
